The Malenadu gidda samvardhana kendra Or Goloka goshale, is situated in Melbilre village of Hariharapura hobli, Koppa taluk. It is at a short distance from the holy place of Sringeri. This goshala was started with an aim of protection, conservation and further development of the indian breed of cattle, primarily focusing on the endangered local 'Malenadu gidda' breed. We care for about 300 stray, orphan, and cattle saved from slaughter houses; in our goshala. This goshala is maintained by a trust, and we require co-operation of everyone in this cause.
