Dhyan Foundation Hebsur Dhyanamrita Gaushala, Hubli district, was started with 87 rescued Gauvansh in September 2022.This Gaushala gives shelter to rescued, sick, injured and abandoned Gauvansh and they are looked after till their natural end. Many of these were handed over to us by Karnataka Police after being rescued from illegal butchers and traffickers.The Gauvansh come to us in a pitiable state - bones visible, limbs & horns broken, fear in their eyes, starving for days. Dhyan Foundation volunteers, gopalaks and paravets leave no stone unturned to nurse and nourish them back to health and normalcy.The nutritious feed mix of maize green fodder and dry fodder is provided. For weak Gauvansh & the ones with special needs, specialised diet comprising of herbs and supplements is administered. The fodder is supplemented with ample amounts of chokar and cooked daliya to bring them back to health as soon as possible.Visit our Gaushala and adopt a Cow, Nandi or Bal Nandi and we shall look after them for life, for you and also provide you with periodic updates.
