Dakshina Kannada District, Kadaba Taluk, Ramakunja village for establishment of Government Goshala Survey No: 85.20 acres in 233, 13.25 acres in 299/1,2 total 98.45 acres is sanctioned. An area of ten acres has been utilized for the construction of the cowshed and a barn capable of handling about 100 cattle has been constructed with the grant provided by the government. Cattle are provided with drinking water, fodder and nutritious food. A well constructed fence has been constructed around the Goshala covering an area of about 10 acres. About 2 acres of land has been prepared for growing fodder. Outsourced D grade employees are hired for livestock management. A CC camera has been installed for the protection of cattle. The construction work of Community Goshala is in progress under Narega Integration Project. Goshala was started from 01.01.2023 and currently 33 cattle are reared.
