In 2016, Shourya Gokula was founded in Shirtadi, a village located 8 km away from Moodbidri, India. We had two cows initially, but now, Shourya Gokula is a cheerful home for more than 40 native Indian cows. These cows are highly esteemed and cherished by us, and our mission is to save, protect, and develop the native desi breeds. Our cows relish a clean and verdant atmosphere, and are granted ample freedom to roam around, along with the best quality care. We make sure that they are served with nourishing and organic food, free of chemicals. The natural breeding process is put into practice, and the cows and their calves live together. Particular attention is taken to ensure that the calves grow steadily, and they are routinely examined by a veterinarian and treated as a part of the family. Donations to the gaushala are deemed to bring in eternal blessings and the service to cows is given the highest priority in the Vedas. We invite both visitors and online donors to donate the amount of their choice. In addition to the exemption for agricultural income, donations made to our charitable organizations are also eligible for tax exemptions under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
