The unique Goshala of Indian cattle breeds established in the Year of 1999-2000 under the Dharmachakra Trust (R) started by Sri Sri Sri Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji, Sri Samsthana Gokarna , Karnataka, India. We have the privilege of conducting Bharathiya Govu Yatra in the year 2006 and Vishwa Govu Sammelana in 2007 and created awareness about importance of Indian cattle breeds across the world. At present we are running 12 Goshala in different part of Karnataka , One among this is Mahanandi Goloka , where 475 Indian Cattles with 30 different indigenous breeds are present . Every year we are spending 1.5 crores towards Mahanandi Goloka Expenses and we are getting very meagre amount of about Rupees 10 Lakh per year from the department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, Karnataka. Our moto is preservation, protection, propagation and research of Indian cattle breeds. You can see 30 different Indian cattle breeds in one roof at Mahanandi Goloka . We have provided shelters for rescued animals also. We expect generous contribution from the public and cattle devotees.
